Saturday, December 13, the Chelmsford Women of Today will be hosting Muffins with Santa from 9:00AM to 12:00 NOON at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, 2 Westford St. by the Chelmsford center common. No reservations are need. Admission price includes an All-You-Can-Eat Continental Breakfast, various holiday craft projects, face painting, temporary tattoos and of course, a special visit with Santa. The cost of admission is $4.00 per adult and $3 per child (free for children under 6 months). Color photos with Santa for $5.00 will be available to take home with you that morning and there will be some terrific raffle prizes. Chelmsford Women of Today are selling raffle tickets for ‘A Day of Leisure for Her’, donated by the Galleria Day Spa of N. Chelmsford to benefit Domestic Violence Awareness Programs. The winner will be treated to a day of leisure to include an ultrasonic facial, a one hour massage and a manicure to be used by 12/2014. The drawing will take place at our Muffins with Santa event December 14th at the Unitarian Church in Chelmsford Center. Sunday, September 29th, CWOT participated in the Northeast Walk to End Alzheimers starting at 200 Brickstone Square,Andover, MA.
Following an invigorating warm up and an inspirational ceremony 6 Chelmsford Women of Today members walked with family and friends through the streets of Andover choosing either the 1 mile or 3 mile route. It was a great experience and a beautiful day for a walk.

Friday, September 12, 7:00pm – You are invited to Game Night at Kathy S’s. The game of the evening will be ‘Apples to Apples’. You do not need to know how to play to attend, snack and laugh. CWOT participated in the 2nd Annual “A Common Day” sponsored bythe Chelmsford Lions, September 28th on the Town Common. The fair was open 10:00 am to 3:00 pm with surprises throughout the day. We sold raffle tickets for a Galleria Day of Leisure to include a one hour massage, an ultrasonic facial and a manicure valued at $197.00 and sour cream coffee cakes and cinnamon bread from Boston Tea Cakes. We handed out flyers and told everyone why they should join our organization. It was a great way to celebrate the last day of US Women of Today Week.

The United States Women of Today was established in 1985, and currently has 12 member states and around 2,800 members across the nation. There is also a sister chapter on the Mediterranean Island of Cyprus.
Despite our name, Chelmsford residency is not required and membership is open to any person at least 18 years of age.
We are a dynamic and diverse organization interested in the betterment of our community. We are not politically or religiously affiliated; we like to organize community events, sponsor public speakers and forums and raise funds for charities. We challenge ourselves to improve our skills, develop new talents and plan social events.
We volunteer our time and members can be as involved as much as they want. The wide range of opportunities offered by the Women of Today make us a unique organization. There is something for everyone and new ideas are always welcome. Keep reading to learn more.
