CWOT Raised $1,000 Walking to End Alzheimers


Sunday, September 20th, The CWOT participated in the Northeast Walk to End Alzheimers starting at 200 Brickstone Square,Andover, MA. The walk is accepting donations until the end of the October at
Following an invigorating warm up and an inspirational ceremony Chelmsford Women of Today members walked with family and friends through the streets of Andover choosing either the 1 mile or 3 mile route.

5th Annual Spare the Violence Bowl-a-Thon Update

We held our 5th Annual “Spare the Violence” Bowl-a-thon on Sunday, March 22, 2015 for Alternative House, other Domestic Violence Programs and various local Charities at Brunswick Bowling Lanes at 647 Pawtucket Blvd, Lowell, MA.  This year we had 8 registered teams.

Lots of door prizes, prizes for the team raising the most in pledges and for the team with the highest series score, highest scorer’s, highest pledge raiser’s,and many more we handed out throughout the afternoon along with pizza, soda and snacks.

The Chelmsford Women of Today want to thank  all our bowlers and especially the local businesses that helped sponsor the event: April’s European, Bertucci’s, Brickhouse Pizza, The British Beer Co.,  Chili’s, Chuck E Cheese, Classic Flowers, Crosby’s,  Galleria Day Spa, The Glenview Pub,  Hong & Kong, J.J. Boomer’s, Mahoney’s Garden Center,   McDonalds, The Owl Diner, Princeton Station, The Bowling Zone  and our members.

During a fun evening on Sept 3rd, over appetizers, desserts and summer drinks, CWOT members firmed up their 2015-2016 calendar projects and socials. They planned a year packed with something for everyone: charity work, educational programming, fun and friendship. Every month offers something new: Game Night, Halloween Party for the shelter’s children, Muffins with Santa, gifts for the Troops, Shopping for the Secret Santa Program, Holiday Party, Quilting for Project Linus, Bowl-a-thon to promote Domestic Violence Awareness, Girls’ night out, Food Pantry Drive, Movie Night, and more…
